Default New Player with Bard Question

Hey folks, I haven't played EQ in a long time. I always admired bards and loved being able to solo or group AND run fast! Anyhow, enough about me. I checked into the server a while ago, but found out bards were broken: their AoE DoT songs didn't do damage when the mob was moving. I know this didn't get added in til later on in development.

My question is, have bards been fixed where there AoE DoT songs are like classic? One thing I missed about classic was swarm kiting. SOO much fun! Thanks!

Theres still some issues with swarm kiting but they have to do with mob hit radius and can be worked around when swarm kiting, songs have been fixed tho~

AOE kiting totally works! Swarm kiting (with charm) does not. Maybe it will one day. I hear the devs are doing a whole bunch of aggro related fixes eventually so maybe this will get added into the bunch. Either way I'm still having a blast even at 50.

AoE kiting works fine, the only trick is that mobs have giant hitboxes so landing your dots without getting whacked is a bit tricky at first, but once you figure it out it's pretty easy.

Plus, if you run in a straight line after circling, mob hitboxes suddenly get like 20 times larger. You can stay just out of melee range while circling np, then you straighten out your run and suddenly mobs have 50 foot long arms.
