![]() Looking for honest feedback as to whether or not this is a good idea... I'm new to 'end game' or 'high value target' raiding, so would like some veterans to weigh in.
I was present during the Kael KT fiasco last night, it seemed to me that a few slight rule tweaks along with tools players can use can help alleviate the problems I saw from last night. The issue seemed to be someone got FTE but only had themselves or maybe a few guildies in the zone. Another guild arrives with full raid force (50+ people) and see only a few others in zone. How do we know who really has FTE claim if we weren't there? Is this honor system? GM involvement? It would be nice if a custom command like /FTE could be used while you are in the zone (NOT outside the zone). Could look something like: /FTE ---------------------------- King Tormax - <Awakened> - 22 mins left before forfeit Derekor the Vindicator - <Azure Guard> - 33 mins left before forfeit There are currently 2 targets with active FTE status in Kael Drakkel ---------------------------- This could really help alleviate a shit show and make things easier on GMs. I personally would like to see rules in place on a 'qualified' FTE where you need a 'raid force of intent' in the zone to qualify on the /FTE command. Such as 10 guildies in zone during an FTE to get on the /FTE list. If at any time less than 10 are in the zone, the FTE timer expires. The /FTE command could have different timers for different spawns. Could also put rules in place to prevent qualifying for the /FTE list (multiple fail attempts, engaged FTE targets in other zones, etc). Will this work? Is it possible to make a custom /FTE command even in the UI? If not, can a more useless command be used and modified (/charinfo? maybe even the /who list?). Looking forward to the feedback.
