![]() Howdy,
If one were to create a Dark Elf wizard, then go to Crushbone, forgetting that it would lower my Indigo Brotherhood (Warrior guild) faction ...And then if one were to attempt to turn in a quest to the Indigo Brotherhood in Neriak, how would one do that if one were to now be KOS? Would a Troll or Ogre illusion work? Or what would be the best way to begin raising that faction back up? I'm a fool. Thanks. -Ket

the wiki is awful in places but always improving... for faction its solid, take a peek. Looks like the quests to raise it are all from the warrior guild itself, which is a shame - and short of murdering slaves in CB or leveling and killing Kelethin guards it's a long long road back. afaik an illusion isn't going to save you if you killed many orcs [You must be logged in to view images. ![]() I have a half elf warrior of innoruuk on red. In order to prove my Teir'dal lineage many, many slaves in Crushbone had to be killed before the Indigo Brotherhood would acknowledge me as one of their own and give me training.
Now I know all of the finest warrioring techniques as taught by the Brotherhood.

![]() Better question. How would a wizard use troll or ogre illusions?

![]() Isn't there a wizard trainer in Overthere? That should be a totally different faction. You still would have the problem of buying spells, but that can be overcome with the help of others or rolling a level 1 at the wizard city of your choice.

![]() Indigo Brotherhood has a very small presence in Neriak. You should be fine. Just travel with in is.

I guess I'm confused about the whole faction and illusion thing. I thought that with the proper illusion, say from an enchanter, I'd be able to slip past regardless of faction, and that it was the deity that would get in the way. If not, what's the point of those illusion spells? So, if I were an agnostic wood elf with a DE illusion, I could sneak into the warriors guild - but if I'm a Sol Ro Dark Elf with bad faction and a Troll Illusion, I can't? -Ket
