Returning Player from 2000 Looking for Partners

Hey there, from the server stats and forum posts, this seems like a super active community, which is awesome! I played EQ from a month or so after initial release until a few months after Velious came out and I'm incredibly happy to see an 'old-school' game like this up and popular.

So, here's my thing. I really enjoy playing with people. And not random people or anything like that, though that's fun as well. But mostly I enjoy playing with the same people as we level our characters up together. Is this a thing that happens with any regularity on the non-pvp server?

If it's not a thing that happens with any regularity, is anyone interested in starting up a group with me to do this?

I'm mostly looking for people who can commit five+ hours or so a week to this. I'm an insomniac and I work from home, so my play schedule is pretty open. Game hours per week would probably be in the 10-20 range for me. Ideally, I'm looking for three to five other people, that way there's a fairly good chance that at least two or three of us can get together regularly. If someone falls behind, then the others can help them catch up. I sort of just like the community aspect of these games, which is something that I find absent in modern MMOs.
