Default Best place for Druid to bind

Hey folks I'm wondering what everyone's opinion is the best place for a Druid to make as bind point? Just curious from the non porting community on what the needs are. Thx all

This is where I'm bound. I'm waffling about changing my bind from firepots though.

Rivervale, Kaladim, Akanon, Erudin, Kelethin, Oggok are all 1 zone off a portal
Felwithe, Grobb, Neriak, Freeport are all 2 zones off a portal
Halas is 5 zones off a portal (including WK which is a long run or Egress)... But once Surefall Glade ports come in Nov 2001 it will be just 2 zones over
Cabilis is either 3 zones over or OT hammer and 2 zones over... Once Evac EJ works from any zone it will be 2 shorter zones over

I think once the Surefall Glades ports and the Winds of the South spells are in their final Velious state, Firepots become more or less obsolete to a Druid. The main 2 zones that it saves you time accessing are made more accessible.

For a newer Druid, I wouldn't chain down your bind spot. It can be very frustrating at times during a quest or group to not be able to change your bind spot port around and gate back.

Leave it as fluid as possible. For low levels just bind in a central hub like OT and sell ports out.

Later on, Seafury island if you're quadding, Permafrost if you're charming in bear pits, PoMischief if you have a duo partner to farm cards with.

Assuming you have an OT hammer and kunark evacs: KC is a good bet, you can make decent plat evacing people and also hammer to OT and pick up ports there, the other common place people need pickups from. Everything else can be traveled to fairly easily via ports, but Kunark requires a lot of running and multiple zones.

OOT is another good spot just because it takes SO LONG to get to and from via boat people might pay a premium, also can solo seafuries during off hours.

If you're just looking for plat and aren't 50 yet I'd recommend binding in OT at SF ramp, that seems to be the most common place people need ports from.

KC or OOT are good. KC for evaccing people and OOT for getting people the heck outta there =P

My druid is bound on top of Karnor's - at least until they remove the Kunark evac restrictions.

Yep, where I mostly keep mine. Other good one is EC hehe for the reeeally lazy druid [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Though I rarely port people, just like the OT location for getting around, but often times I see people offering 100pp for a port out of those zones. What I notice from like dial a port /who all queries, they tend to bind in OT or HHK areas.

The Overthere
Either bind above the Skyfire Ramp to the left on the hill ledge (to avoid getting trained), or bind inside the docks up on the hill next to the beach. Many high level players leave exp groups by "OT hammering" out, and then need a port ASAP to get them to a raiding destination.
