Default Obtaining EQ Titanium...Legally

Hey all. I understand that threads and posts on obtaining Titanium are (supposedly) prohibited on these forums. So let's have a chat on the options for "legally" obtaining a copy. Fault me for being honest, but unless DBG puts in writing that they are fine with people treating Titanium as freeware/shareware, I would like to do The Right Thing.

If you purchased Titanium back in the day, and no longer have the discs, I believe you can download the files legally. Is this correct?

However, I only played EQ thru LDoN, so I never made it to Titanium. People like me need to explore other options.

Obviously purchasing a "new" copy would be legal...but I'm not sure that's even possible anymore.

Is purchasing a "used" copy, even where the CD key has been used, and then reusing that CD key 100% legal? Is there an understanding that if a person sells a used game with key that they will no longer use that key, else they are at legal fault?

I'm going to assume that using someone else's copy, while they are actively still using it, is *not* legal, but correct me if I'm wrong.

P.S. If the only option for legally obtaining the game is to purchase it off of some scalper for an exorbitant price, then thems the breaks. I'm just asking for the legal options, not opinions on what I "should" do or why it's okay to "bend the rules".

Thanks!!! Really, really hoping to play soon. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
