Default Question from new guy

Do the changes on other emulators that rework pets exist here? For example, do Mage pets and chanter pets have a chance to hold aggro over a PC? I read about that on some other emulators and unsure here. Haven't downloaded the client yet, just trying to learn what I can. Thank you.

If there's live character next to the mob even though a pet did a bajillion damage to it already, it will always attack the live character.

Might be slightly different with root mechanics but don't remember.

Nope, if there's a PC in range it'll go for it every time. The possibilities for mage/melee class duos would be great otherwise.

If you want to attack a mob as a melee so that it will not hit back you either need some other player with more aggro or the mob has to be incapacitated (stunned, fleeing). Pets don't count at all. That *is* a bit strange because if you do damage from a distance, pet aggro is working and important.
