Connecting then error

Hello everyone

I played Everquest a long time ago on Brell server. I found out about this server and wanted to give it a try. I have a copy of EQ Titanium and I have followed all the steps to set it up, including the Technical support thread.

I copied all the files over from the Project1999 download, deleted all the files it said to, and changed the server host name. I also created the desktop icon and linked appropriately. I also set it to windows xp sp2 compatibility mode.

That said, I get Connection Failure

Could not establish a connection. Please check your network connection or contact eqtech@soe.sony.com

I am at a loss as to how to fix this.

You need to right click the shortcut your using and add in the target line - patchme

I already had that in the short cut. I tried again today and the problem still persists.

Check your eqhost.txt file, sounds like it's not correct -- Mg
