Is WoW pvp fun? Is it worth trying? Which server is flowers on? Is WoW challenging?

I enjoyed battlegrounds, arena got repetitive and eventually boring to me. If you are curious, go to twitch.tv and watch people live stream it. If a picture is worth a thousand...

Watch some videos on warcraftmovies.com or watch some twitch streams.

Can be more or less challenging depending on what era you play in.

Worth trying imo.

Arrow Some truth from a 10 year retail, 5 year full time classic pserver vet

Logged in to say vanilla pvp was a complete gongshow. and TBC PvP is both balance, and mechanically the best xpac for WoW pvp.

vanilla pvp is fun - when you are leagues overpowered gear wise, you are playing a pvp viable class/spec. but even more so if your opponents are shitters.

TBC pvp was balanced in terms of variety of viable class specs (not so balanced in terms of viable arena comps). in battle grounds, all classes and specs were able to bring something equally unique, and useful to a battle. and NOBODY (except hybrid resto druid hehe) was invisible.

As the xpacs went on and spells, numbers, class utility and player population reached peak ridiculousness. the tactical requirements and overall flavor and depth of PvP as a whole wore thin. it became apparent the development team was no

wow pvp was always kinda shitty tho, a highly dumbed down version of eq pvp, you literally don't have to keep track of anything, just auto attack on, press all your spell keys and move in the general direction of target

I th0ught vanilla was much better than EQ. Rallos: hard c0ded pvp range, most people you cant engage. Sullon: Most people will kill you, unless youre high level, then i guess YMMV.

In W0W levels were much more closer together, meaning i could fuck up a 50+ who miscalculated his dip into enemy area, by snaring him with my high 20s priest as hes trying to run away from 2 guys his range. I dont really see what a level 27 can do on sullon to influence a fight between 50s.

Terrain was better off the top of my head, fun fights in BB, that jungle hill zone near blimp. Fearing people into mobs as a priest never got old, neither did straight fearing people in large scale pvp, which you could get alot.

When they patched in the BG grind, thats when it started to suck. All the cool raids on cities died, world pvp died, to grind the same fucking 3 maps for weeks on end, was a retarded decision which they admitted afterwards.

Same thing with warhammer, was so sad to see the well designed zones empty, just a bunch of people at camps queuing BGs
