Spell Files not working
Hello,
I've been trying to get into the game, but i've been stopped at the character creation screen. This is due to the spell files being out of date even after i've extracted the files to my everquest folder. I've reinstalled a few times and i've redone the eqhost text file with the duxas installer and the spell file zip file the Forum has posted. Still no luck in changing the character screen before logging into the game. I have no problem in connecting to the server and logging in using my account made on this site. the character screen reads "spell files out of date" and i get a Errorcode SP-1 on the last bar for the character creation screen. Is there anyone who's had the same problem and fixed it? If so i'd love to know how its done so i can avoid having to redo this process for the 5th time. Thank you. | ||

ok got it working [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] so what i believed happen was my antivirus thought Dsetup.dll was bad so it removed it. i had to tell it to ignore it and now my charater is back and i am able to play again. so thank you

hello OP, sadly this thread somehow got missed.
Every time there's a patch we all have to update our spell files, and of course after a fresh Titanium install. You can find the latest patch file in the top forum (news/announcements). Download the zip file within and extract to your main P99 install directory (whatever you called it). You know you're doing it right when it asks you to overwrite a bunch of files ("yes to all").
