Sir Lucan

Hello everyone!

I'm looking to take down Sir Lucan for SoulFire and was wondering how hard he is to kill? I was thinking of trying at lvl 50, is that high enough? It's a long respawn, so I'd feel bad bringing others to help, but end up sitting at waiting for nothing.

You will definitely need a couple level 60s to help you. Since Lucan is used for Soulfire clickies in the raid scene, he is rarely ever left up for more than a few minutes. But most people will respect the camp if a pally actually needs it, so be sure to let them know.

Maybe things have changed but most people camping Sir Lucan are gigantic assholes. I'd get his spawn time by via logs or maybe someone will have it, and have people ready to engage.

In my experience as a Paladin who needed Sir Lucan, not one person respected my "claim" as a Paladin who needed the Soulfire. Treat it as a FTE because everyone else will.

Under mob engagement Rule 3, section 8 paragraph 1.. I can confirm this is the case and wormed's advice is sound.

Seen both necros and druids solo him. That might sound promising, but what that means is unless you get lucky you will probably have to pay for a MQ because he is farmed.

Druids can solo NP, also bards can... But as others have said, find a snare class an go to town, you just need to kill jentry first, or risk being slapped around.
