Ringwar Giants - Non-classic Mitigation?

There is a lot of problems with the Ring War still, but right now the amount of DPS required is unreasonable. The mitigation on these giants is insane. This was an event that people used to do with 50-60 people - right now you'd need at least 3x as many just to keep up with the waves, much less the other issues of the last wave completely ignoring aggro and resisting all snares, or giants falling through world.

This is just a log from one giant of me and a few others killing a straggler while rest of raid went to main wave, so it's a much larger sample size.

Here is some stats of me tanking/fighting a Kromrif Warrior (a mob from the 2nd wave). I'm using a Shovel of the Harvest - http://wiki.project1999.com/Shovel_of_the_Harvest which with max STR/buffs has a max hit of low 300s but high 200s is usual. I hover around 70-80 dps on stuff with normal AC values.

I saw a TON of 25 dmg hits (the minimum damage).

AC seems a bit overturned for the second wave - I cant imagine what third is like AC value wise
