Default Cannot find EQgame.exe

After last nights patch, i was able to log into the game, i logged out about 6 hrs later slept and tried today on my link and it tells me windows cannot find eqgame.exe.

I had a window popping up before saying do you trust XX, i said yes and was sick of seeing that window so i set administrator mode on this shortcut. After doing this it now says it cannot find eqgame.exe....

Anyone out there savvy and wanna toss an idea here?[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Modify the working directory on your shortcut to be the directory your eqgame.exe file is in. Should fix it.

I wanted to add a quick note to this. Not because I had the same problem as you, but because I had that error message when I did a fresh install. And the solution for me was as follows:

When I clicked on the Launch Titanium (In the installation file), this message appeared. I read the above message, and I could not make heads or tails of it (sorry). However, when I made a shortcut of the Launch Titanium file (right click, create shortcut) and placed it on my desktop... it worked to access the game.

Maybe that helps someone. Maybe not. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Good luck.
