Default exploit or classic?

playing on my enchanter, i charmed a mob and gave it a few items including rune of scale. i then broke charm and hit it with a blur. another player came to kill the mob and when it was dead, the player was able to loot this no drop item. im wondering, is this classic or a bug?

I didn't link a post, I linked the forum where you are supposed to make a new thread about potential exploits and not post them pubilcly...

Would this mob have had a chance to drop a Rune of Scale had you not given it one?

Tested this and was unable to duplicate.

So either OP was mistaken, trolling, or it has since been fixed.
