someone pls post success stories. this app is relatively new and developed by microsoft (yuck!), so it probably takes some master configuring. i havent yet tried it, as my pc has remote desktop disabled right now.
for anyone worried about clickjacking or linkbaiting (or whatever they call it), inspect the link.. it goes straight to the google play store. feel free to search "microsoft remote desktop" yourself if you are the tinfoil type.

Teamviewer sucks. Installed it and then noticed my computer kept waiting up out of sleep mode.
Turns out it was teamviewer doing some rootkit level antics. It's supposedly fixed now but I'll just use a VNC server/client from now on. | ||

I've used the same app on my iPhone to attempt to play WoW on my phone back when everyone was ranting about wanting a garrison mobile app. It's a major pain in the ass to use and is pretty much impractical, but is somewhat doable. I remember having issues with the mouse registering or something. It's probably doable for EQ.
To use it you need to be on the WiFi that your computer is connected to or you need to setup port forwarding, make an exception in your firewall, and connect via external IP. Oh and the framerate was utter shit. I actually use this app at my job when I need to connect to my office PC for whatever reason while at a meeting. | ||
