Custom Velious Helms
So the only way to get a custom velious helmet for a non plate class is either
Cowl of Mortality Crown of the Kromzek Kings Frostreaver's Velium Crown is that true? chain/cloth/leather wearers do not get to hand in their thurg/keal/ss helmets for a custom version?

Rangers that do Helm of the Tracker quest in PoG also get a custom look in the same patch that enables the custom helm quests. There is also decent evidence that the gnome tinkering helm (Clockwork Watchman Armor) should have custom appearance a couple of months before the custom helm quests patch.

Off topic, but I wish Velious added visible capes into the EQ world.
I always thought it was cool how DAoC had it with a /hood command too.

Wore a black cape for Halloween last year. Also wore a deer skull mask I made myself and covered my porch in black plastic.
Lots of extra candy that year for some reason. Something about a disembodied floating skull handing out candy scares the children.

Instead P99 decided to force Velious armor textures... /boggle
Of all the inane unclassic things to force...

^ Nope, I've tried everything and for some reason they won't allow it, even though it was completely classic to have them turned off.
