Example

/gsay %(pet name) attack %t!

What is th % wild card for the pet name?

I'm not going to tell you because it will only result in an annoying macro.

Charlie, why would you want to just say in your group for your pet to attack?

if you want your pet to attack your target , its /pet attack %T

your pet is called pet, you don't have to use its name, its your minion

When I am in a group and we have a multiple pull my Necro pet can off tank one of them( we don't currently have an FD splitter) because I can usually solo the mobs we are hunting anyway.
I use a macro to identify to the group the mob I am taking. I jus thought it would be fun if I could put the pet's name in there.

FYI it is %M

Not exactly intuitive.
