Default Character running at super speed?

Hey all,

I got a laptop from someone in a trade for a graphics card and both times installing EQ on it i've had the strange effect of moving at either super speed or glitching, skipping squares on the map and, still, travelling really fast.

I mean, this is really only a problem because it looks like i'm speedhacking :P I'm not sure what caused this since it's been a clean install of EQ Titanium using the same process outlined in the "Getting Started" guide on p1999.com that i've used at least 8 or 9 times on other machines.

I talked to a GM about it and they told me that it might have something to do with my CPU being overclocked. This would make sense as it's a mobile GPU which could be tied into my CPU but I checked my BIOS and there's no options to change clock speeds at all and there's no software installed on my laptop that can overclock.

Any ideas? Right now i'm out of playing P1999 on my laptop and my girlfriend's a little upset cause I have to play on my desktop in the other room :P

Request to quell GF aggro?
