Default Any Velious druid leveling guides out there?

My druid is level 50 and I've never played Velious before. I'm looking to level solo and prefer to charm animals. Would one of you druid experts give me some ideas for 50-55ish? Is Velious better than perma bear pits at that level range?

49-54(?) CS wyverns are fantastic, good luck getting a spot though

Don't bother with this. Classicly, yes this was a good quad spot. On P99 it will be packed with gem farmers.

You could charm kill in Western Wastes once you have CoV faction. Charm killing in Wakening Lands may be doable but I'm unsure on the exp there being decent.

Grouping in Kael or Dragon Necropolis with charmed wolves/rats for DPS would also be good. At higher levels grouping in Siren's Grotto charming is also good.

Kedge/Bear pits probably are better exp 50-60 than any Velious zone can offer. That's basically how EQ worked. They increased HP on mobs too much, ZEMs not enough and as a result old world zones are the fastest to level in. But if that's camped you do have some other options.

I doubt red will have the same gem farming issues as blue...

I remember doing a lot of velious quadding back in the day, starting with snow cougars. I can't remember anything that followed though.
