It's seems like every off-topic thread I see here lately is taken straight from Gizmodo.

And this one in particular was super dumb.

Besides all the obvious answers that others have given (which are all good answers), do we really think that by the time time-travel is successfully invented and mastered that we would still be using big clunky cell-phones like that?
