/channel command

Any idea what this command does, other than break my ability to hit enter and type text? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I typed /chat channel guildsay to see if it would make my default chat go to /guild. It didn't work. So I tried to make it go back to /say, using /chat channel say. It didn't revert back to /say. Now I can't just hit enter and type text, I actually have to type /say <text>

Any idea how to fix this?
