Default Hello and thank you!

Hello everyone on P99!

Like a lot of people here (I suppose) I used to play EQ back in 1999 - 2000. I have been thinking about joining P99 for a long long while but being now a married, responsible individual, I've always found (probably valid) reasons not to. Last weekend, however, I suddenly grew tired of staring at my Steam library and I finally did it - installed Titanium, the P99 files, double clicked that .bat and whoa, what a blast! Everything is there, just the way I remember it, the music, the graphics, the decaying skeletons, the attacking the guards by mistake, the 45 minutes long corpse recoveries, /corpse /corpse /corpse /corpse. I've played like, I don't know, 15 hours, and I feel ridiculously happy.

So I thought I'd drop the community a line to express my gratitude: to everyone working on this project and making this possible, thank you. I don't think there's a game that I enjoy more than the old EQ; it's such a delicate and complex alchemy, I was never able to find it again in any of the games that I've played since then.

Anyway, my character's name is Balgren, I'm a level 6 dwarven Cleric, soon to be LFG around Greater Faydark, so PST if you need a bit of healing. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
