Mouselook and better clicking on macbook

I followed the youtube video instructions to install on a mac and it worked perfectly. The game runs much more smoothly on my MBP than it does on my windows 7 machine.

But! I don't have any mouse, only the laptop trackpad (which I'm very comfortable with). The standard mac inputs that equate to clicks and click/drag don't really work. As a consequence I can't mouselook, I can't turn with the mouse while running & I can't click things very well.

For example, I'm running around the newbie zone always looking straight ahead, and not able to see over hills. Then when I loot I need to click several times until the corpose is selected. Then I need to type /loot. That's not going to work in the long run.

Have other people solved this problem on macbooks? What's the right configuration?
