Default startup memory issue

I successfully installed it on my dekstop and it works ok, I am trying to get it working for my girlfriend on her laptop. Its a core - i5 and a 1g ati graphics card. When I start it up it crashes and gives me some errory about the memory or soemthing. I am not at home atm I can post the exact error when I get home, if this isn't enough information.

I had the same problem. I just re-copied the files over from my original directory and it worked fine. Not sure what caused it.

Default possible fix

I got mine to work on my laptop with windows 7 32 bit, I moved the Sony folder to C:/users/public/games and then set the shortcut to force run to 640x480 and it launched the game. Hope it works for you. Seems like it still works fine after I changed the resolution in-game. Also to note, im not sure if it has to be in that directory but since its working I didnt bother to expirement further :P
