Aon name plates are a pretty big deal

pulled the troops out of mass pvp the last 2 big fights.

both fights were roughly equal numbers but my side usually has 1 or 0 aon's where <empire> has 7-20 aon's

for those who dont know aon's make your character roughly impossible to track or stick on in melee pvp.

This makes the fight pretty much absolutely impossible to win so its better to pull the troops out instead of suffering a loss.

server will continue to be a snipe/grief fest without mass pvp as long as aon name plates remain invisible.

ever since <Good guys> was formed there hasnt been a legit mass pvp fight yet, just <Empire> training and killing themselves like fools and/or the sniping of mostly uncontested raid mobs.

Many people dont understand how pvp works here in everquest and its definitely not about big fight vs big fight head on you are a fool if you think thats how it should be done every single time, but with AON's it makes this option completely unavailable.

might be time to start listening to lite and gongshow about the name plates issue and get it changed...

I have no problem at all being an assassin, sniping mobs, and sniping players. thats like, my main style for playing this game since day one. It's my favorite way to play, the problem is a lot of these other players want to experience mass pvp.

majority of Empire AoN owners, includig Gongshow have expressed they'd like AoN nameplates added. Up to the staff now.

have stated 100x that i'm not interested in velious because of the massive shitshow it's going to be considering every single person on the server will have an aon and no one will ever kill any raid mobs

Because Reek buys his PvP protection by handing out AONS he bought, if they get nerfed he'll have to buy more stuff for his betters to protect him. So he can continue to play like he's on a blue server.
