Hey all - I have an ATI Radeon HD 4xxx series card, when I have Sky - Complex settings on, I get strange blocks, lines, etc., coming on the screen
here's an example [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] any ideas as to how this might be resolved? Also, FULLSCREEN mode refuses to work in any configuration, I just get a black EQ screen with cursor still functioning. Thanks

no dice, it only works with the sky completely off and full screen will not work whatsoever either way

Try checking your advanced settings for the video card. I use nvidia, but they have the ability to store application specific advanced settings.
For the fullscreen problem, if it's not a video card setting, try making sure your fullscreen resolution is set to the same as your desktop within the eqclient.ini

Fix for this problem for me was to make it stop updating the sky graphics constantly or whatever in the drop-down menu in the Graphics tab in options. Select the "Update Every Minute" or whatever slowest option there is until it stops making those pixels.
