I am hopefully getting my Copy of Titanium within the next day or so. A coworker of mine got me started on EQ in 2002. I played a Mage up to I think 25 then he told me he wanted to move to a PvP server. I started a Half Elf Bard on Sullon Zek ( Good Side lol) named Twistid. Played him up to mid 50s then for reasons I cant remember exactly we decided we wanted to reroll as Evils LOL. I rerolled my Half Elf Bard as an Evil and kept Twistid as my name where we played for a few years. We left EQ for WoW but we could never stop talking about EQ. Just recently found out about 1999 and decided to give it a go. Havent decided on a class yet but would love to have my Twistid back LOL. Not sure what classes are most wanted/needed for grouping as I love to group as much as I can. May start up the Bard again just not sure if my wrist can handle all the twisting unless I make some macros. Anyways just coming in to say hey and any class advice for this server would be grealty appreciated.

Welcome Twistid! If it helps, bards are highly sought after for raids, groups and can enjoy soloomg when they like by kiting in open zones.

Don't let that influence your decision entirely though, part of coming back to classic EQ for me was trying something completely different to my shaman on live... no regrets at all [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Ty Swish. Yea was kinda looking do do something different but the thing I loved about the Bard is that I felt like I could solo well but worked very well in groups as well so haven't figured that out yet

There is no Melody on here, and never will be. So playing a Bard on here means you HAVE to Twist songs like the old days. So some people, like me, just can't do it for hours and hours like you really have to on here. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
