Error 1017 - not a network issue (maybe)

Hi guys, I fixed my error 1017 that was persisting and not letting me get to char screen. I put it on one processor instead of the two available. If you're a noob, usually it's like F2 when you're booting up your computer to get to that setup screen and change that info.

I just wanted anyone who needed to know that was a fix. Not ideal, but ok.

Nevermind, the following day revealed that it wasn't the processors (for me at least). My roommate installed a VPN I wasn't aware of, turned it off and that fixed the error.

So check for that before you change your hardware settings
