Default Bard or Enchanter for Faction Adjustement?

Hello folks, posting this in Bard and Enchanter sections...

Stumbled upon Project 1999 awhile back, but never started using it, but i just downloaded all the files and so on and I am ready to get back into Everquest. I played from Kunark - SoD. Played many classes, but my memory is hazy on this topic, so simple question...

Not taking in to account anything but the faction raising spells / songs, which is stronger? As i recall, the bard's faction adjustments are stronger, but the enchanter has more utility tools to aid in it like shapechanging and so on.

Pick no diety use illusion in any city you want. Dont need faction spells, except for a a couple quests for enchanter.

I know I don't need them. But I used to have a lot of fun with them. Seeing different faction changes to things was fun. Was just curious at max level which had faction adjustment spell.

According to the wiki, enchanters get three faction-increasing spells, which boost faction from 100 to 300 points. The Bard's lvl11 faction song increases faction from 120 pts at 11 to 610 pts at lvl60.

I'm not sure how accurate those figures are, but here's an example of how useful the combo of illusion and faction song works. At level 42, my agnostic wood elf bard was glaring to the OT outpost, having never killed anything on VS faction. After using the Mask of Deception (DE form), I went from glaring to apprehensive. Not bad! At this point, I used faction song on the undead foreman and went from apprehensive to amiable. Thus the combination took me from glaring to amiable, and I was able to get my OT hammer (a few levels before I could use it) without needing to charm.

The same combo is necessary for bards to buy coffins in Neriak. DE illusion gets you in the door without dying, but the faction song is necessary to go above glowering with the proper inner guard faction to buy the coffins.
