Can't stay in full screen mode

Hello,
New to the server, need some help. Every time I'm in full screen mode, whenever I use my mouse to click on something it keeps going into window mode. Can anyone help with this? Thanks

I had a somewhat similar problem after first installing, where if I clicked anywhere near the outer edges of my EQ window it would minimize the window and go to desktop. Was very annoying. Installed WinEQ 2 and solved it. It is permitted to use on the server and has been known to correct other issues running the game. Not sure it will help you with your problem but might be worth a try.

You have to select fullscreen twice via the options window for it to take.
Make sure the dialog boxes and the options window (alt o) are in the center of your screen.

I'm running WinEQ2 and I have tried switching to full screen mode multiple times in the options window, but I'm still having this problem. Am I missing something else I can try?

EDIT: just wanted to post an update. I just ramped the resolution up to as high as I could and ran it WITHOUT WinEQ2 and the issue was resolved. Not sure if it would work for anyone else; just thought I'd share.
