Spell sound effects on Iksar

So I just noticed something fairly strange when I'm playing my iksar. It seems that the ending Sound effects for certain spells get cut off. I have also noticed there is a sound effect that sometimes goes off when I'm casting, particularly with my circlet of shadow. It's like the melee swinging "whooshing ".

Anyone else notice this?
