Default Playing P99 from Mainland China

Dear P99 community,

Would any of you have had the unfortunate experience to try to connect to P99 from China (Mainland). And if so, have you used a proxy or VPN in order to get a stable connection?

It seems China will tolerate P99 for an entire week with decent ms (300~ mind you), and all of a sudden P99 will be banned and you won't be able to connect, or with horrible desyncs and latency.

Any tips are most welcome.

Thank you very much!

I played in mainland China during the year of the dragon (2012). No VPN, no proxy. Ping was between 200-600ms depending on the day. I was using a University connection, the Chinese internet is not always reliable and is under observation, the bad days you just have to find something else to do, the good days it worked well enough. Keep in mind location as well, ideally you want to be on the east coast of China, further you get from there more latency you will receive.

Best times to play I found was in the morning hours. Just my experience, don't have high expectations in China.
