Funny twink story - iool

If you level up in Crushbone, Unrest or Mistmoore, sooner or later you're going to run into iool, silvers, spore, etc. They're alts of people who create best in slot low level twinks to make life hell for levelers.

Whatever feelings people have regarding twinks, most people realize that they'll usually level out of range of them pretty quickly so it's not a big deal.

Yesterday, I was on my alt Druid and was fortunate enough to get into a full group in Unrest that was being PL'd. The experience was really moving along! The rest of the group was quite a bit higher level than me but I was still getting awesome experience.

I check /who very often and sure enough, iool was in zone. He had killed me twice earlier in the day and I had bound pretty far away because I was planning on gating to get spells. I did not want to die and make that run a third time!

I hadn't been able to get my spells so even though I was now 25, I was still working with level 14 spells. Iool sees me and gives chase, I dot him but can't land a snare or root. I'm getting OOR heals and they're telling me to run around in circles. He keeps pelling me so that isn't doing any good.

He comes charging at me and DING, level 26! He was no longer in range (so he was 21). Everyone starts cracking up as he can't touch me now.

That was funny enough but here's where it takes a really unexpected turn. He goes running in the house. I'm thinking he's going looking for some new victim but less than a minute later he comes running out and he's in range again! He had soloed 1 or 2 mobs and dinged! The chase starts again and I have to plug.

I wait about 15 minutes and log in and am in DC. Someone was there that needed healing and some buffs. I accidentally turn the wrong way and zone into Unrest. There's iool waiting at the zone line. He roots me (web?) and finishes me off for the third time.

I was pissed but it was pretty funny.

had a similar but opposite thing happen with a ranger twink harassing me in freeport. guards got him, pras guards!

so you bound so you could get spells yet you didnt get them? Not sure if srs or dum

tip 1 of pvp server, bind where you exp

PS Druids are terrible and you should make a wiz if you like nuking or a clr if you want to heal
