Default Druid area effect snare/root

If mobs are point blank will the lvl59 snare and lvl60 root hit the caster?

Haha I am glad I asked. Hopefully I can avoid a few of those situations.

Another new-to-60 druid question. Does the mana regen from mask of the hunter stack with spirit of oak? What about with clarity?

Yes and yes. We have really nice mana regen at 60, outdoors at least. Just a warning, expect everyone to hate you if you cast oak in Fear.

you just turn into a big ass obnoxious tree

and by big ass tree I mean fucking huge

stacking c2, Hunter Mask, Oak (and eventually Glades) is the best mana-at-tick possible. You can also stack Fungi tunic, regrowth/staff, natureskin and Oak.

In essence, Oak is fucking sick.

There is or atleast was a bug where if you cast Spirit of Oak while in another illusion (like wolf form), it would overwrite wolf form, and make you appear as a human... Not a tree. To prevent the obnoxiously huge target box you get as a tree.

Spirit of Oak is limited in use for me. The primary situation I use it in is when I'm OOM post-death or in other OOM situations. I throw on Oak, Mask, Regrowth and begin clicking Robe+Manastone. Gets you to full mana a few min faster than just medding does. Oak is perfect for this because while the mana regen is nice the HP Regen is huge if you have a Manastone.

Come Velious, Glades is on same line as Oak and Oak becomes a lot less useful. Again mostly in just post death recovery situations.
