![]() I could have sworn they were at some point, either midway through or at the end.

![]() Nah it was around the luclin era. I think like shortly after luclin released. Halflings could be rangers and paladins, gnomes SK's and Paladins, and I think that was it?
EDIT: it may have been at the end of velious though because I remember selling everything I had when horses came out so I could buy my new halfling paladin a 9k horse. I think it was the beginning of luclin though.

------------------------------ - Halflings and Gnomes have new classes available to them: Halfling Rangers and Paladins as well as Gnome ShadowKnights and Paladins. All of the necessary NPCs and items should be available for these new classes. As a Halfling Ranger main for 10 years on Live it saddens me that Thulack in his true form would never be seen here.

![]() There is so little diversity in eq/p99, or even the opportunity for diversity, this is the one non-classic change I'd welcome. The fact that min/maxers wouldn't ever make these race/classes makes it that much better. Who knows, maybe after 10 years of Velious...

When you saw a 'good' race playing an evil class or a dark-elf paladin, you knew there was some important background going on there. They had earned it with blood, sweat and tears. That kind of improved my immersion. And then they just let anyone do it...
