EQ on Win 7 x64

Well just installed the Titanium edition and got it setup to run on the server, I am able to login and play on the P1999 server. But I cannot get it to run full-screen, and when in windowed mode it is very hard to read any of the text in-game(very small and chopped up). I have tried using a few different UI's all with the same effect, best one so far is Savok's Vert UI. However it is still very hard to read/see anything on the UI, I have tried a few different resolutions starting with 1600x1200 and scaling down to 1024x768. Doing this just makes the graphics more blocky and screen smaller, but the text is still incredibly small. Hitting alt+enter for full-screen just makes EQ lockup, thanks for any tips.

*edit* Also tried the different compatibility options to no avail.
