Why is there nothing to help this......

I am still having issues travelling through certain zones.. Boots me and its hell to get back in, like 100+ tries to log in. I get my toon moved and its fine , i can log in again no problem. I had issues logging in while in gfay , firiona vi, BB , and thats mostly it... Is the a reason i might be having this issue.

Ive tried everything under the sun.... can anyone think of ANYTHING

What sort of things have you tried? When you say 100+ tries to log in, whats happening? Are you getting an error?

Need a little more info to troubleshoot. First thing I would say is uninstall and reinstall. If it is happening in certain zones and only those zones, repeatedly, its most likely bad files in those zones.

Sounds like your having routing issues with those zones or their are issues with the zone files.

Yeah, I tried clean installs. Cleaned caches, deleted ini files, changed directorys, tried using wineq2, eqemu launcher, changed compatability mode to winxp s2,run as adminstrator
If the zone files are corrupt or something, it wouldnt make sense why every one of my other characters can zone in and out with no problems ,just this one ..
The error with it, is , I can get to the character select screen , choose my toon, and when it is just about to switch over to the game , it disconnects..
its really wierd.

I would maybe try and PM nilbog or one of the dev's and see if all those zones share a same port. Something just reminds me of it being a port issue when clearing the zone files didnt work. Is your EQ folder located outside of your Program Files folder?

And yes i did relocate my eq folder to root drive

One thing that helped me was to go to Options -> Display -> Load Screen and change it to None

Nope still nothing,, cant zone into Gfay, or FV so far and lake of ill omen.
And keep in mind m, this is only on the one toon, and it does the same thing on my other pcs

what is that characters name? did you name it after an npc?
