Screensaver Freezes EQ

Whenever I am logged in to EQ (this doesn't happen at the login screen) and the screensaver comes on it *mostly* freezes my EverQuest. Some small piece still works because if I mouseover something that changes the cursor I see the cursor change. However typing, clicking, or doing anything else doesn't seem to affect it, and I always have to restart after.

Has anyone else seen this, and if so did you find a fix?
