spell files outdated - after extracting/dowloading?

So apparently I am that dumb. I've done this multiple times in the past with updates and never had this issue. Download files, extract to my everquest folder in Program files....and every time I try to get on I get the spells outdated message /wrists

What am I missing?

I'm also having an issue with the spell files outdated error, although I'm only getting the error when I try to log into the beta server. I have the latest patch downloaded, tried about 4 times now.

Velious beta server is still on v34 patch I hear.
So if you want to play there you have to repatch to v34 or have two different installs of EQ
