Classic UI

Hello,

I used to play EQ back in 99 and I would like to relive the exprience.. So I ended up here [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] But in order to make my exprience as best as it can be, I would like to use the Classic UI (The 640x480 window one).. I searched in the forums and found a link with the classic UI:

problem is - when I run the game and try to change the UI (via the game options) nothing happens... I mean the game seems to try and load the UI but at the end it rolls back to the default UI...

I installed the game usin the Titanium cd like the guide says.. Did I do something wrong? or is there a different version of the UI I should find?

Thank you very much. It seems to work but i have few bugs that I would like to know if they are issues with something wrong I did or a bug with the current version of the UI:

1. When I set the UI to default (To get the main menu old school and such) I can't seem to get through the account login screen.. It just seem to be stuck on "Logging in, Please wait..." Works fine when I am switching to the real default UI.

2. When I click on spell book nothing happens.. Nor when I click on the spell tab.

3. Class icon does not show up unless I open the inventory (and then the class icon shows with a little black around it.. Seems out of place alittle bit) and close it.

4. The latency bar (The green one) seems to hover on the "help" button.. Is it possible to move it? or maybe to remove it...

I am playing on 640x480 window mode

Thank you very much for your reply =] I understand that making these UI isn't an easy job and you did a great job with this UI.. Really brings back the old EQ days for me.

Btw, another thing I noticed. When I click on the persona button nothing happens when I am in the caster UI but it does open the inventory when I am in the melee UI...
