PvP Class roles/playstyles

For a new/prospective player, if you choose a class, what are you looking at dealing with? Are there 5 million Shammy/Mnk duo's like on Blue?

Figured the red vets could weigh in on some class info:

ie:
Monk
playstyle: burst dps?

Pros/cons: curse of being kited for life, can innate fear?

etc.

Any info would be great, and possibly help others join.

Hit the other guy until he has less than 1hp. Pretty much pvp right there.
