Default nektulous problem on my laptop

Hi all. I have a question you may be able to help me with. On my PC, I downloaded the nek file and have had no problems with playing in the zone. On my laptop, however, I have done the same procedure but am still under the world. I tried downloading the file multiple times and re-extracting, etc. Still under the world. Any advice?

Please file an in-game petition so we can relocate your character to the zone's safe spot. This should fix the issue if the archive from the setup guide is indeed extracted properly.

you might also check your folder on the laptop to see if it is write only protected. (right click the folder, goto properties, should be close to the bottom).

if it is set for write only, you can download the file all you want but it will never modify the folder.

Thanks buffer. that worked perfectly -

--- edit ----
thought it worked, the file was, in fact, read only, but changed it and repatched -- still under the world ><
