Default Pickpocketed stackable items aren't stacking

Not sure if this is working as intended or not - if you pickpocket a stackable item it will always take a new bag/inventory slot instead of stacking.

Bump. Any rogues care to weigh in? I didn't actually play a rogue on live, and I couldn't find any information about this on the net. It seems counter-intuitive though - if you pickpocket two of the same stackable item, they'll be put into separate spots in your inventory.

Seems like items that are successfully pickpocketed should just be /autoinventoried and stackables should stack on top of each other. Don't have any data for this, but perhaps some rogues that played during the classic era could give their two cents, since pickpocketed stackables such as gems are fairly common.

Pickpocket is utterly broken atm, but this definitely not the issue. Kanras changed it to only work on humanoid flagged mobs. That means Hill Giants can't be pickpocketed. Huge error. Pickpocket should work on anything not flagged undead, animal, or summoned.

Stackables not stacking allows you to keep track of exactly what you're ripping off from your group. That could be useful.

Go make your own thread for that issue then. I'm not interested in whether or not items not stacking is useful, I'm interested in whether or not it's correct.

So do some research and stop relying on others? This is a bugs forum not "I dont know if this is right" forum.

As I already stated, I have. Message boards are for getting input from others. In plenty of other threads I've gotten very useful input from other people, which in turn also helps with researching specific issues. I'll use the forum how I like and if the moderators have a problem with me, they'll be the ones to deal with me.

If you have researched it then where are your links to proof? saying " i think this is wrong but i couldnt find any info to state otherwise" is not a good way to post a bug report.

I'm going to assume you didn't exactly score the highest in your class in reading.

As a rogue on live, from Velious to Luclin, I don't recall items auto-stacking when pickpocketed.
