Default Returning Player Can't Get Client Working

Hi all,

I reinstalled my client using the Titanium version and everything was fine but for two problems.

First, I install everything fine, add all p99 files except for dsetup.dll and run the game. I get to char select and it says I am missing spell files. This is odd because I have installed the spell files.

Second, if I try to move the dsetup.dll from V33 Folder (from getting started page) I get an error message straight from emu launcher saying I am missing .dll file.

For some reason my computer won't copy the dsetup.dll from v33 folder to my eq folder. Also, I have googled this and found a p99 post discussing this problem. But, it mostly discusses how to fix with an anti-virus (avast!) which I don't use so it wasn't much help.

So, can anyone lend me some advice as to what to do here?

P.S. I have reinstalled and attempted this over again a few times now.

Default Antivirus

Your antivirus is deleting it. You need to create an exception for this in the antivirus. Google exceptions for your specific antivirus.

How I did it was, turned my antivirus off. Added the p99 files. Created an exception in my antivirus for the dsetup.dll targeting the file specifically. Turned antivirus back on and run eq.
