Default DB Error

Hi Guys,

I am trying to get into the game for the first time, but each time I try to type in my password I get 'DB Error.' I have an Eqemu account name and I have created a new SOE account name, but nothing's working. Any ideas? I am running this on a Mac using Wineskin

If you made an soe account I'd guess you didn't follow the getting started guide and possibly patched your client to soe. I'd start from the beginning again with a new install and follow the guide again

^this. Follow the getting started guide step by step. It can be found here:

https://www.project1999.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=2651

Start with a brand new, clean install. If you have UAC turned on, do not install to c:\program files\ or c:\program files (x86)\. If you don't know what UAC is, that means it's turned on, and you should avoid the program files folder. Try C:\everquest instead.

You no longer need an EQEmulator account to play on Project 1999. If you follow the steps in the new getting started guide I linked above, you can simply register a new account here on project1999.com and nothing else is needed.

Accounts created for the Sony live servers will not work on Project 1999. We are not affiliated with Sony and have nothing to do with their servers.
