Velious UI Customization

Hi there,

I've recently updated my Velious UI to the latest version (3). Originally, I installed it for the minimalistic interface but I'm having a hard time getting used to the newest version, the biggest offender being the spell bar and its blurry, washed-out gems.

I've tried replacing several .xml files but to no avail; usually nothing would appear changed or the interface gets broken in a way or another.

Is there any way to replace some elements of a customized UI without breaking anything? Alternatively, how do I change the spell gem icons set without having to edit it manually with an image editor?
