Cool No movement animations

Hello all,

First time trying Project 1999 and have it installed and can log in. Only thing that seems to have an issue is there is no movement animations. PCs and NPCs just glide around the screen and do not move their legs. When doing spell casting the particles appear/disappear at times as well. There is a slight jumpiness to the character movement too, but I assumed that part was lag.

I don't know why this is occuring and unfortunately didn't find a post thread about it yet and was hoping maybe someone had a resolution I haven't tried. I downloaded WINEQ to correct the multi-processor issues and I also re-installed the game in the C:\ directory because others mentioned issues with the Program Files directory. I tried updating my drivers as well as recommended but the ones I updated didn't seem to do anything either.

Any ideas on what to try next? I have an Asus m2n-e motherboard, AMD Athlon 64 x2 dual core processor, and Radeo HD6570 graphics card if that helps at all.

I had that same problem and fixed it by forcing the game to run on one processor only (my laptop is dual-core). I hope that sets you in the right direction.

Thanks, for some reason I thought WinEQ already did this (making it run on 1 core), but going to the task manager and selecting the eqgame process and going to set affinity and then only choosing 1 core worked to show animations in game. It did seem to cause the game to crash at character select screen which I had to stop using the wineq and use the Titanium Launcher that Project 1999 says to launch the game with. I'm hoping that happens rarely, but for now all seems good.
