Essence of Winter dropping in Everfrost Peaks?

Just wondering if it still drops, i am currently trying to acquire some, but for some days i have asked the Ice Giant campers if they have seen any drop, and they have all said no, one guy said he had been there for 3 levels and never seen one drop.

I used to kill IG's on live, and Essence drops were rare, but they did drop. Just putting the word out, to see if it is broken, and gets fixed.
