Default Red

Just spent about 7 hours on red. I had a few PvP encounters :
-1) Twink
-2) HARDCORE twink with druid 60 supporting him
-3) twink pulling enchanter's pet to guards
-4) Full group ganking with 60 cleric supporting them

Also only many people do not respect scout and loot.

So all in all group xp is good, I may try again but more for the "fresh server" feeling than for the "red" server feeling. It is cool to see people wanting to just group up people for the bonus and dont "optimise" group duo or trio like on Bleu. Its nice to have also less crowded zones and being able to pick a place without checking every 10 minutes if its camped. On the other hand the PvP part is very lame so far and feels more like an annoyance than like an exitement.

seeing as how not following loot and scoot is bannable, i dont think this is accurate.

I will petition next time than. I was killed 5 times on a CR after called scout and loot by the same group of people.
I even used /tell while they attacked me and with no success.

By the way, maybe I'm wrong about the community's intention but beyond twinking (that at least requires the use of ressources) PvP-PLing people with high level group buffs and heals ruins the balance way more than the +/-4 level limit. Being unable to help (in non heal/buff way) a groupmate being ganked by a too high / too low ennemy for you but supported by a 60 druid is just ridiculous.
If you want people to like playing on red so maybe your raid geared 60 clerics have something else to do than healing ganker twinks.

Because they are the ones with the twinks and 60 druids following them.

I had the same issues with the server when I started out, and after a few /ooc rants and angry tells /shout matches I learned to accept it for what it is and move on.

Now 51, still get ganked, and have actually become somewhat friendly with some of my gankers.

Point is: everyone is out to have fun, yes the twinking is a fuck around but it's part of the game --- it's like a level 30 KOS mob wandering around the newb starting areas --- you're gunna get pole axed from time to time but you gather yourself up and move on up!

Not that anyone expects a red player to actually read their own server rules or anything.

Edit - This one's a winner too. Especially if you keep an eye on posted evidence.

" Causing Experience Loss.

Intentionally causing experience-loss to other players in the PvP environment is illegal in all cases and may result in disciplinary action when witnessed by a P99CSR. This includes things such as intentionally training NPCs. We do understand that there are cases where the experience-loss is unintentional, and no disciplinary action will be taken in those cases.

Much like how the Kill Stealing rule applies to those on the blue servers, this rule is designed to discourage and make note of those who do it habitually, thus betraying the spirit of PvP. As a note, the P99CSR will not in any case provide a resurrection for someone who was caused experience loss in PvP, intentionally or otherwise. This is one of the dangers of playing on a PvP server. "
