Question How to reduce loading times in between zones?

Hello everyone! So, I've followed this, guide, in order to get me started. Everything is working perfectly and I've seen no errors so far, but the game takes a minute every time it tries to load. Now I know this doesn't sound much, but for an old game like this, shouldn't it load instantaneously? Also, does enabling "TextureCache=TRUE" in the eqclient.ini file actually help?

Standard State Drive. (SSD). Will reduce your zone times by leaps and bounds. If you don't want to shell out the money for the hardware, there is software versions (free ones from AMD) that you can get, that do the same thing as the hardware does.

Some people call me a sucker for investing in 32gb of RAM, but let me tell you I wish I had 64++

I tried RamDisk before and honestly it didn't make any difference for me. Might have even been slower. But that's comparing to two SSD's in raid 0.

Sorry for the late reply, but I haven't been able to get on P1999's forum much, lately. In any case, could you give me a link to the 'software' that you're posting about? I googled it and I couldn't find what you meant. Yeah, sorry if it's a dumb question, I'm kinda a newbie when it comes to computers.
